I can not begin to tell you how thankful I am for the entire staff at NEIHN. I would especially like to thank Doctor Tepper, Nicole, Diane and Stephanie. I have been a Cronic migraine sufferer for over 30 years and for the last 3 1/2 years they have manifested into Cluster Headaches. The cluster headaches are called the suicide headaches for a reason, they are that awful. The staff at NEIHN listened, understood how badly I felt , and were willing to try whatever was possible to help me with this condition. There had not been a day over the past 3 1/2 years that I have not had a headache, sometimes multiple a day. They had absolutely changed the quality of my life and had taken away most of the joy in it. I just have completed a series of treatments there and for the first time in several years I have gone 2 days without a headache. They are empathetic towards your situation, listen to, and are willing to try whatever is possible to help you feel better. As you can imagine I have had years and years of different doctors, medications, and no results. The difference with NEIHN is they actually care about the patient and helping you get better. Unlike numerous other Doctors I have dealt with where I felt like just a source of income for them. I highly recommend NEIHN and would be willing to speak with anyone who has possible concerns. Dr. McAllister, Stephanie, and Diane are amazing! I highly recommend coming to NEINH for treatments. I have been a patient here for years and love coming here (and so does my dog). I was referred to Dr. McAlister's practice in Stamford CT by my Neurologist in Denver, CO for ketamine treatment. I have been suffering from daily migraine for 4 years straight. After trying every medication, treatment, device known for treating severe migraine pain I had almost run out of hope. We even tried treatment from the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ with little to no success. When arriving at the clinic in Stamford, I was desperately hopeful the ketamine treatments would be successful. Stephanie walked me through the procedure from start to finish.
